On the evening of September 21, 2008, the Yankees played the final game at ‘The House that Ruth Built.’ A sad day for many Yankees fans. Located in The South Bronx, ‘Old’ Yankee Stadium was the home ballpark of the Yankees from 1923 to 1973 and from 1976 to 2008. The stadium hosted 6,581 Yankees regular season home games during its 85-year history. A memorable game followed by another…the first game in ‘New’ Yankee Stadium. Truly two historic moments for a team and franchise full of history (and Championships!). After all the amazing pre-game festivities finally came to a close, it was time to PLAY BALL! at the new Yankee Stadium. Under a bright blue sky, with over 48,000 fans standing in anticipation, and camera shutters clicking at a deafening rate, Yankee hurler C.C. Sabathia unloads the first-ever regular-season pitch at New York’s new billion-dollar baseball palace. This unique stacked triple panoramic print includes three different mini-panoramic photos of ‘Old’ & ‘New’ Yankees Stadium with an aerial shot of both at the top, the last pitch at Old Yankee Stadium in the middle and first pitch at New Yankee Stadium at the bottom. This beauty measures 27 ½ ‘ w x 21’ framed and is the perfect gift for any Yankees fan!
